Robots can replace bees for pollination of plants

According to foreign media reports, some researchers said that plant pollination is mainly done by bees, but the future of micro-drone will help ease the pressure on bees. According to the US Department of Agriculture, about three-quarters of the world's flowering plants, 35% of the world's food crops rely on animal pollination, the most pollinators in nature are those bees, but last month the U.S. professional department released native species. Extinction lists, the number of bees throughout the world is declining. Now researchers from Japan say they have taken the first step in creating a pollination robot that will help clean up the mess as an alternative to insect pollinators. Scientists invented a sticky gel that allows drones to take pollen from one flower and storage tool to another to help the plant reproduce.
"This is a complete new model study." The person in charge, Eijiro Miyako (a chemist at the National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science in Japan) "Some robots are expected to be used for pollination experiments, but no one has tried it yet." This new study is a brand-new study of the liquid Gel, once a failed attempt, has caused the product to be forgotten in a drawer for nearly a decade. But after eight years, it still hasn't dried up. Unlike most other gels, it is still sticky. Miyako said that, in fact, he saw a documentary about pollinating insects, because the documentary details the concerns about insect pollination. Scientists drones collect Japanese pollen and use drones for transportation. In this experiment, the researchers tried 100 pollinations, achieving an overall success rate of 37%. Miyako said that the current limitations of the technology are difficult to manually pilot drones, but he believes that GPS and artificial intelligence can one day be used to automatically guide robots to pollination. Professor Dave Goulson of the United Kingdom specializes in the protection of bees, but is not currently involved in this new research. He said that he is very interested in scientists trying to create robotic bees, but creating robotic bees may still cause the natural pollinator bees Other insects will gradually decline, and what people need is to cause protection against these hardy insects.
