On the 10th, the reporter learned from the National Museum of Inner Mongolia, Hulun Buir City, that Bai Jinsong, a research fellow from the institute, recently visited a suspected ancient site in the Shangyang Gas district in Hulunbeigen City, and initially determined that the site is an early forest hunter-sacrificing ritual site. .

On the 10th, Bai Jinsong said in an interview with reporters that the site was located in the primary forest secondary forest belt in the hinterland of Daxinganling, about 35 kilometers northeast of Genhe City, and 5.4 kilometers northwest of Shangyang Grid Gas Field. There are about 30 stone piles on the surface of the site, which are round, oval, irregular, etc. They are scattered and vary in size. There are weeds and coverings on the periphery of all stone stacks. The shape of the site is similar to that of Huanghuodi site in Ergun City.

According to Bai Jinsong, starting from October of this year, relevant departments of Hulunbeier City will conduct further archaeological investigations on the sites here, and relevant archaeologists believe that this will have a profound impact on the study of the history of northern forest hunters.
